Clinical Experience
Blake practices as a Registered Social Worker, conducting therapy and ongoing assessments for individuals, couples and families. He continues to develop and hone his clinical therapy skills. He applies this knowledge and experience to his interest in cinematic storytelling, video editing and production. Blake's combined interest in human psychology and social dynamics, allows Blake to have a unique and multidisciplinary perspective on a given topic he is visually communicating to the audience.
Training
Blake has completed an array of film training courses, including the Transformative Media Creation and Reception course by Mark Allan Kaplan, Ph.D., an integrally informed media training program and has recently joined their Lived Inquiry Metalab program as a research member. He is a trained in Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, as well as being experienced with a variety of video editing software. Blake has completed an array of online video training programs in video production and 3D Design programs, including courses from Greyscale Gorilla, ThinkTAPLearn, MZed Pro, Creative Highway, ProEdu, Cineversity, among others.
In Blake's spare time, he's an avid runner, enjoys reading nonfiction, music and staying healthy and active.
